Alejandro is the only Spanish guitar player who was admitted to the Masters programme in Classical Guitar Performance in the city of Alicante (Spain) in order to study with the Guitar Masters: Mr. David Russell, Mr. Manuel Barrueco, Mr. Nigel North, Mr. Roberto Aussel, Mr. Ignacio Rodes, Mr. Carles Trepat and Mr. Hopkinson Smit.
Alejandro has performed with distinction in well recognised theatres and concert halls in Spain and Italy namely; Palacio de Festivales de Santander (Spain), Marcelino Botín Foundation or Benetton Foundation in Treviso (Italy), as well as being frequently invited to play at different classical music festivals around Spain.
He began his studies in Santander (Spain) with well known teachers: Mr. Paulino García Blanco and Mr. Jose Manuel Fernandez, the latter oversaw most of his training.
In 2007, he travelled to Madrid and was admitted to The Royal Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Mr. Jose Luis Rodrigo and after four years, he achieved a First-Class Honours degree in classical guitar performance.
During the summer of 2010, Alejandro recorded many works of Johann Sebastian Bach, Fernando Sor and Johann Kaspar Mertz at Cubex Studios in Cantabria (Spain). Alejandro described this experience as one of the most beautiful and intense feelings a musician could have.
In order to expand his knowledge, Alejandro decided to live in London, where he studied with the guitar player Mr. Carlos Bonell, professor at The Royal College of Music. While in London Alejandro got to know other musicians and had the opportunity to experience different points of view relaing to classical music.
In 2014 Alejandro finished his second master’s degree in performance and research of contemporary music under the tutelage of Profesor Mr. Ignacio Rodes, playing in his final exam the world famous “Concierto de Aranjuez” by
Maestro Joaquin Rodrigo in the Museo de Bellas Artes hall in the city of Alicante (MUBAG), where he also obtained a first (1st).

Always looking to improve and learn from distinguished professors Alejandro is a regular visitor to guitar festivals; the “Príncipe de Asturias Foundation” (Spain), “Comillas International Guitar Festival” (Spain) or “The Treviso Guitar Festival” (Italy) to name but a few. Here he learns from some of the best; Mr. Ricardo Gallen, Mr. Miguel Trápaga, Mr. Pablo Sainz Villegas or Mr. Marco Socías.
Alejandro has recently released his first album “ALMA”. The album is not only dedicated to the Spanish, but also pays homage to some of the most recognised composers.
